Junior

Fitness

The plan, and what you actually did.

Have you ever wanted a training plan that lives on your calendar instead of a PDF?

Build a program and put each workout on your calendar, on repeat, through race day.

Programs on your calendar, workouts built from a library of drawn exercises, and every set logged as it really went.

Fitness opens on today: what's planned, what's done, and how many days until the race you're training for.

Fitness: race day for the Harborline Half Marathon in 31 days, week two of six, and today's five sessions, an easy run, core, mobility, a bike ride and a stretch, each with Log and Done.

Programs

A plan in phases, on your calendar

Build a program in phases, with a race date if there is one. Put a workout on the calendar once or on chosen weekdays, and each one is an ordinary calendar event.

Someone can offer you a plan of theirs. You look it over before a copy becomes yours.

A week in Junior's calendar with easy runs repeating Monday, Wednesday and Friday and a long run on Sunday, beside the rest of the week.

The library

Exercises, drawn

Workouts are built from a shared library of exercises, in straight sets, supersets, circuits, intervals and more. Common movements come with a simple line drawing, all in one style.

A list of exercises, each with a small line drawing: hip stretch, banded clamshell, bike, bird dog, box jump, calf stretches, cat-cow, crunch and dead bug.

The log

What was planned, what you did

Each set is listed as planned, with its own Done, and last time's weight filled in. Add a set, change the numbers, or mark the whole session done, partial, skipped or swapped. Nothing is scored.

Planned versus done: a calf stretch with one of two sets done, Bulgarian split squats planned at three sets of eight with four sets logged, and a hip flexor stretch to mark done.

Upload your Garmin files

A Garmin run, filed for you

Junior doesn't connect to Garmin. Upload a .fit file, or a .zip of them, in Junior's chat. The run fills that day's planned run, with distance, time, pace, heart rate and splits, and the calories the file recorded count toward calories out in Health.

A run imported from a Garmin watch: 3.25 miles in 32 minutes, pace and average heart rate, cadence, stride and calories, marked Done.

Suggestions
For a running plan, Junior can suggest changes to the coming weeks. Nothing changes until you accept it.
No scores
Junior shows what you did against the plan. It doesn't grade it.
