Junior

Health

Your numbers, kept in one calm place.

Do you take your blood pressure a few times and never know which number counts?

Log a sitting and Junior averages it, leaves out the outlier and says why.

Readings, blood pressure, meds, doctor visits and what you ate and drank, all in one place and yours alone.

Junior shows your numbers and which way they moved. What they mean is between you and your doctor.

Body readings in Health: weight, heart rate, body fat, sleep and blood pressure, each with its latest value and how it has moved.

Blood pressure

Several readings, one sitting

Log a reading with its heart rate, or several taken together as one sitting. With three or more, Junior can leave one out when it's far from the rest, says why, and lets you count it anyway.

Mornings and evenings are kept apart on the chart, and the bands are the American Heart Association's categories for adults, named as theirs. They aren't a diagnosis.

Blood pressure over 90 days with morning and evening lines on the American Heart Association's category bands, and a morning sitting of four readings averaging 128 over 82 with heart rate 64, one reading left out with the reason and a Count it anyway button.

Meds and supplements

Taken, or not yet

Daily, as needed, or a course with an end. Tap Taken and it's logged; as-needed ones are never shown as missed. Thirty days of what you took sit underneath.

Meds today: an allergy tablet taken, ibuprofen as needed, and thirty days of what was taken; supplements below with vitamin D and magnesium glycinate.

Doctor visits

On the calendar, with a reminder

A visit lives in Health and on your calendar at once; change it in either place and both follow. A visit added in Health starts with reminders a day and two hours before, by email and in Junior, and you can change them.

What was said, prescriptions and follow-ups stay in Health, never on the calendar event.

A doctor visit opened from the calendar: Dr. Lena Ortiz, the kind of visit, what it's for, and a note that what was said and prescriptions stay in Health, never on the event.

In an emergency

A page you choose to share

Turn on an emergency page and pick exactly what it shows: your name, allergies, meds, conditions, blood type, who to call. Medical parts start unticked.

Anyone with the link can read it without an account. Every open is logged for you, and you can replace the link or switch it off.

An emergency information page: allergies, medications with doses, conditions and emergency contacts, marked read-only and shared by its owner, with every open logged.

What you ate and drank

The day, added up

Meals you say you ate bring their calories, protein and the rest. Planned meals don't count until you do. Drinks are tallied by the week, with dry days counted too.

A day in Health: calories in, out and the balance, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sugar and sodium against goals, and Saturday dinner logged with what was on the plate.

Details

Details

Where readings come from
Typed in, a CSV exported from the VeSync app for Etekcity scales, or a photo of your monitor that the assistant reads and asks you to confirm.
Blood pressure
Categories are the American Heart Association's bands for adults. Junior doesn't interpret them.
Leaving a reading out
Only with three or more in a sitting, and only one. You can always count it anyway.
Reminders
Email and in Junior, never texts. Email is capped at 60 a day across Junior for now; past that it still lands in Junior.
Emergency page
Off until you turn it on. Not indexed by search engines.
Not medical advice
Nothing here diagnoses or recommends. Ask your doctor what your numbers mean.
